Tobirama Build (2nd Hokage from Naruto)

Hey guys,
I've posted a few threads regarding my build and figured it might just be easier to start a thread about the whole build :)
So this is my first ever armor build, and I essentially had almost zero experience with foam (craft foam) prior to this build, so I've been messing up a lot.
I've already messed up quite a bit, and really want to complete it on this try. Anyways, I'll be updating this thread with pictures and other information, mostly probably to get advice from you guys.

Some stuff I've learned so far:
Heat seal foam before using it
Sand wood glue after applying every few layers
Make sure the holes in the wood glue are completely filled before painting
Follow application times for paint very carefully, otherwise the result might not look stellar
Plastidip would probably make this a lot easier, but it's too expensive lol
Let pieces dry in positions that won't bend it out of shape
Don't glue the back of the piece if I need to bend it

Anyways, I still have a lot to do
Hopefully I'll be able to complete this soon!

So I've gotten all of the foam cut out except for one piece I'm going to measure later and I'm going to start sealing it with wood glue. I also finished the base silver layer on one of the pieces already, and noticed some indents in the foam. Anyone have any solutions to those?

Alright I finally got to painting the piece blue and was able to get this awesome battle damage/wear and tear look with the mustard technique I got from Punished Props. The thinner mustard stayed on, so I'll have to apply the mustard thicker next time, but it still looks pretty cool. Now that this test piece is done, I'm going to start painting everything now! :)IMAG0609.jpg
