TND's Yoda lightsaber and display case

I finished this saber some time ago but haven't had a good way to display it, so I'm making a little custom box....the idea is that maybe since Yoda didn't carry his saber routinely he may have used some sort of personalized case.

The saber is a Bosley 2. With a real Lamborghini front wheel for the emitter. The grips and the oil pan are from a kit I bought here. The pem nut is the correct one

I realize the hole in the pommel cap isn't supposed to be there but that's the closest cap I was able to find.

Thanks Halliwax. This was another project that sat in a box for years just waiting for the right parts.

Small update here. I wanted a leatherish lining but thin lamb skin can be pretty pricey so I ordered a cheap chamois online, moistened it and conformed it to the packaging insert. I let it dry overnight then trimmed it to fit And then a couple coats of paint.

It came out great! What did you use for the brass screw (above PEM nut)? Both look like Praco's! The hole is supposed to be in the pommel on the bottom, unless you have one of the side holes.

Either way looks great!

I never knew Yoda had his own symbol. Looks cool. I love the saber! This display is gone look sweet. :thumbsup

i think this case is complete now. I went with a color scheme similar to chairs from the council chamber. The little greeblies inside are Rey's speeder micro machine.
