saturday ill be going to my dads metal fab shop where the helmet piece and face mask will be made for my TMNT 2 shredder...and we are going to try making the helmet out of metal as well.....ill try and post pics saturday or sunday for you guys

Very nice Rocksteady mask. I see it is on ebay for $160. I cant figure out how to see out of the mask. Can anyone find the hidden holes?

sorry didn't see your post until now. I actually bought it off of ebay years ago. its soft rigid foam and connects to the chest piece by 2 strap belt buckles. kinda like overalls. the best part about wearing is that when i go to parties, i can actually carry my change of clothes inside my shell and its really comfortable. cheers, agy!

I have the same shell! Tough to find, but probably the best production shell out there.
These hands and feet came with it, which is the main reason for me purchasing. The included mask is horrible lol.
very very very cool pics. You need to find a hat like in movie 1 for raph lloll. Did you custom make your masks? The shell is such an awesome thing for the costume too. Im thinking about having it airbrushed but i need to find the feet and hands too. i missed out getting those.

I searched loooong and hard for a suitable hat like in the movie, but that head/mask is just too freakin huge! I tried an XXL fedora as well as the Freddy Krueger costume hat which is made to go OVER the krueger mask, but that was still way too small! As for the masks, I bought them and unfortunately the seller barely spoke English and I never found out where they originated. I am not sure if he had them commissioned or bought them from someone else, etc. I think your mask is much more correctly proportioned than mine are lol. What is the origin of your mask? It appears you and I are one of very few people to own these shells! I have had pics of your costume on my computer for awhile and it is really cool to be able to link-up on the forums! We need to stick together with this Turtle stuff.... you and I both know how crazy hard it is to find decent costume components for sale!
oh yea. you wouldn't believe how long ive been searching for those feet and hands for my costume for years. they are extremely hard to find and they look so good. but your right, the shell is an amazing piece.
I got my mask from a seller on ebay a year ago. and i have another latex mask i got from mirage that i painted and fixed up which made it look a lot better. yea, would be cool if more people were into the turtles, hopefully with the movie coming out next year there will be more interest!

I think one of the masks I have is the mirage mask as well, but it is unmodified. That was the first TMNT costume piece I got and was so proud of it! Definitely hope to see more some more costuming of the turtles, hopefully you and I will be posting some new stuff before long! It would be awesome to go to a few premiers in suits of some sort!
