Just back from France! I went over for several appearances in conjunction with "L'Espace Dans Ma Ville". Mrs. TK409 and I traveled to France on what became a humanitarian visit as C-3PO. I appeared as the droid for several events including a childrens' space camp called L'Espace Dans Ma Ville (Space in my City), as well as several summer camps for less fortunate kids and a childrens' hospital. I was lucky enough to meet several 501st members and visit cities I'd never even dreamed of. The French people were warm and generous and I look forward to returning.

Also, my passion for vintage motorcycles was well fed!

Thanks a lot guys. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your kind words.

We did get the question a couple times, "So, you're fluent in 6 million languages, why no French?" I had arranged with the organizers that "Threepio's vocalization files were inadvertently erased by X-rays at the international airport." I did learn some greetings so I could briefly interact with the kids, like "Hello my young friends" and "Very good", "Wonderful" "Beautiful" "Good Bye!" and "Good Evening". I also learned the correct pronunciation of C-3PO and R2D2 in French (sounds like Say Twa Pay Oh and Ehr Deu Day Deu)

I also got some upgrades to the suit recently and will post photos when they're chromed. Thanks again!

From what I've heard aboujt international shipping laterly your lucky he wasn't held up in customs.

How was it going through customs with a suitcase full of all that shiny 3PO -ness-ness?
