Hey, TJack! Great work with the faceshell and lenses. After doing some digging to find out what'd be best for a Spider-Man costume, your name came up a LOT. So here I am! Are you still asking for $55 for the faceshell? I'm also looking for lenses, but I'll post that on the other page...

Hey Tjack,

I tried heating up the frames with a hair dryer, but I feel like it's just gonna take forever. I don't own a heat gun, so is it safe to boil it? I'm really scared to ruin the frames.

They sell heat guns at Wal-Mart for less than $20. I have one, it's beautiful

I tried the boiling water and ended up breaking one of my frames. Borrowed a heat gun and it worked like a charm, so I would either invest in one. Just make sure you have something on your hands when you go to shape them. Burnt my fingers pretty good

Man, I wish I read this before I boiled mine..... and broke it! :( I'm either going to use Kenlandrums files, or buy TJacks combo.

Hi TJack, completely new to the RPF (longtime lurker) have a gunhead comic style suit with glued-on lenses. Looking for a face shell to provide a good shape, would it be the universal I'd be after? I live in London.
