Time to get started

Hello everyone

I joined these forums to find some pointers and such for creating my own Predator suit.
With all the nice huntorials for various parts of a suit that I 've found here I should be off to a great start.
MacGuyver's Mr incredible suit huntorial, Vinmanmac's armor templates and so on, great stuff
And with some (or a lot of) time and effort I hope I'll be able to end up with something as good as the stuff I've seen around here.

My only real problem is what to make the suit out of, or actually the real problem is where to get the stuff...
From what I've gathered a lot of people seem to use Latex, Foamies and Sintra plastic.
But since I'm on a rather limited budget I would preffer it if I didn't have to ship the materials too far.

So I guess my actual question is if anyone know of any swedish equivalents of Foamies or Sintra or other use full stuff.
Or If anyone know where I could get these things in sweden or at least some other Scandinavian country.
Maybe there are even some other swedish users around here that could help me out?

Thanks in advance :)

(As you've probably figureed out by now I'm from Sweden and thus english isn't my first language so my english might not be the best but it should at least be understandable. ;) )

EDIT: wrote this in swedish because he is.

I'd agree, experiment and look through the home made suit threads to find ideas. You'll see people making different things from bottles, cans, buckets and even kids toys. I've seen the plastic from buckets go along way. Plastic plumbing pipe and wood for weapons. Rubber mat and road signs for armor too. There are some very creative people around here.

Now that you mention it Svarta katten does sound kind of familiar, I think a friend of mine might have mentioned it a few months ago.
I took a look at their website and as far as Latex goes they seem to have just what I need

Also I've been thinking about using plastic buckets to make the armor before So I guess I'll give it a try and see how it turns out.
I think there is a heatgun lying around here somewhere (or maybe I should just boil the plastic?)
and other than that I should have most of the tools I might need.

Well then, guess it's time to get started on some concept sketches :)
