i am working on this one now in primer.:rolleyes
i got the add ons from King Richard and used a cheap airsoft electric Berretta. {it should be a Taurus}
the electric blowback is cool and has switchable semi and full auto. on full auto it scares the crap out of my wifes cat.lol:lol
still got some cleanup to do before paint.

This is one of those ubiquitous sci-fi props. sorta like Starship Troopers armor or a Ghostbusters 2 PKE meter.

Also found it's way into a no budget canadian film called "Recon 2020". But Wilco sells a version of it, it's not screen accurate to timecop though, just to stargate, but it looks like a great casting.

mine is made from cast add on parts from Richard Coyle.

it first appeared in Timecop , and was later used in SGA and a few other scifi shows. that design got around a lot after TC.
Rich can chime in on this.

also his cast parts as always needed no real cleanup. :thumbsup
my airsoft is the cheap plastic one, around $12.:rolleyes

ohh , and i added metal screws.

Rich inclided a laser but i did no tadd it because i have to many pieces that need batteries now. :lol

and to get picky , my understanding the show used one was built on a Taurus pistol which is a copy of the Berretta. the difference it on the Berretta the saftey is on the left side of the slide which i had to remove to add the top shell.
the Taurus has the safety on the left frame under the slide so it can stay.

If you don't mind would it be possible to get a clearer picture of the TEC card?
I like making cards and would like to try this one! I just finished a "Dirty" Harry Callahan police card, to go with the badge I don't have yet, which I would love to show of but being a newbie I haven't figured out all the tricks yet!
And were did you find the shoulder patch?

Yup, here is mine. Its made with a Softair Taurus 92, Pachmayr wraparound grips (with backstrap) and cast parts from AIM models.

What I really want is the recall device they use to open the "portals" but I cannot get a decent picture of it to determine what the hell it was.

If no on minds me chiming in. But I got positive ID on the costume Van Damm wears. It's a LawPro shirt, pants, boots, and a Henley undershirt. (LawPro is like what the police wear. The Henley undershirt isn't LawPro) the only thing that is not IDed is the holster. It might be a combat holster
