TIE Pilot costume -Finished

Very nice outfit, wingman! Looking forward to trooping with you... Stockholm this coming fall, perhaps?

Vaderman - forum member RBJ offered very nice and accurate hose sets a while back - check with him if he have any left.

Wow, where did you get rubber shoulder straps??

As for a hose, it's not 100% accurate, but for something VERY flexible and light, I used black hoses from and anesthesiology machine. I used one, cut it in half. Used one half on each side.

Thanks, the costume is approved, yay! :cheers

Congratulations.

Can you take more pics of your rubber straps attached to the back and front armor? Especially the back view. I've been thinking of changing my straps to rubber. Thanks.

Damn,I missed some questions. :$ Even if Im really late, Ill answer now.

If you need more then what I posted below, let me know.

Wow, great job!

Okay, so I am totally blind in the realm of TIE pilots, is the type of hose coming out of the helmet a known quantity? I picked up a helmet, sans hoses and I would like to add them.
Thanks!

I dont think we know what were used. Mine have a good shape, but the originals seems more shiny IMO (could be painted of course). They were also softer as can be seen when the pilots run dawn the hallway on DS 2. One hose is bending way more than mine could.

A member at JRS is selling them. Let me know if you need info. I like mine. You will need to use tire shine once in a while, or they will turn gray and flat. They are slightly shorter then the ones in my RA armor kit, but I could attach them in a way, making them longer.

Here are a few pics of the finished costume:

Better late than never!

Thanks. :D

Also, thanks Gatekeeper!
I'm off to find an anesthesiology machine that doesn't need its hoses any more!
