Sorry, I thought I wrote that the right way, but at least you catch my meaning. If it's priced along the lines of GINO's ST, then I could never get it (and stay married, that is :lol) While if it was priced closer to a DL, then it would be something that I could add to my collection.

Hi all

I'm sorry as I am new to these forums and also somewhat new to collecting replica helmets. Where does one find a LAWS TIE helmet? Is it just the luck of the draw (and cash ) on ebay or the for sale section of here? Just curious as I am trying to spend my discretionary income before my wife stops me...

I know Mr Laws Personally, own several of his kits, and can attest that his work is some of the best work out there. He has 1000s of photos of the real props/costume pieces, from the archive, and he spends 100s of hours sculpting to make it as close to the real prop as possible. I've seen many comparisons, both pictorial and side by side, and there hasn't been any that have even come close. I suggest you look him up because you won't get any better.

I'll have to assemble mine. It's an old kit that's been in a box for too many years.

I have two IH Tie helmets. One is being converted to an AT-AT driver helmet though.
They are the best/most accurate by far, so far and the price was great.

I have NO interest in even looking at over priced prop replicas anymore. At the time i bought mine, the SDS helmet was a stupid price (probably still is) and IH blew the SDS out of the water.


IH even sent me two rear pill boxes for the helmets that open and close.

Separate ears is a must for Tie helmets.

BTW, i posted here that the clips were from car door cards years ago. I sent Jez a set when he got his first Tie helmet.
