Tie fighter helmet what is the best

I am wanting to know what the most accurate, besides sheppertons helmet,
I want the closest To the oringinal I can get.

The next most accurate that you will be able to buy would probably be Laws

Top it off with the ear greeblies from Elvistrooper for added grooviness.

The best ones I have seen are made by a guy in Ireland who done kits they are called IH helmets. PM me if you would like details as he doesn't frequent forums. Keith showed off an IH helmet a while ago on the forum so possibly he could post up some pics.


renzaijh can you post up better pictures of the black greeblies under the mohawk on the Laws please. Do the black greeblies come from Laws or did you source them yourself.

From your pics they don't look like the ones on the screen helmets possibly it is just the pictures.

You might be right on that but I could check up if needed.

If the IH ones aren't available the Laws is an obvious choice as it looks quality through and through.

On a side note, I think the MLC TIE helmet looks very nice as well.

Thanks for the pic. So Laws helmet uses resin enterpretations of the greeblies rather than the real thing. Thanks for the info.

..I really like my Sgt Fang..good trooping helmet, but not very accurate...you would need to fill in the little rectangles on the sides ( that I forgot to do....doh! ) ..I remember seeing the IH helmet..they were amazing! Please let me know if they are still available!

No offence to the Sarge i have one of his TIE helmets too but the DP Delux (which his is cast from the master) is not anywhere near accurate its an idealised helmet it's been mirrored the face on the originals is not symmetrical.

I have a laws and like it very much. I thought I had read somewhere that they were from a Datsun. But when I went to the auto parts store I had to go with the closest they had which were a generic clip

These are NOT recast from an SDS. Great helmet and worth every penny.
