Nothing says, "I am a well funded, bad as operator" like a throat mic...
The mercenaries in the desert were wearing what looked to be a new design of throat mic. I bought this one years ago for my phone because I drive a jeep with the doors off.

I liked it but everyone I talked to hated it. They said it made me sound like a robot. The company, IASUS, was coming out with a prototype new version. I could buy one at a discount but funds are tight. Most real throat mics are used with radios and cost way way more than I paid for the phone/novelty one.
1. Are the ones in the movie real tech?
2. Does anyone here use one for airsoft, work, driving, cycling...?
