Thinking of selling my storm trooper armour

I didnt want to post this in the junkyard as im not actually selling anything, but if its not appropriate for the costuming forum please could a mod delete or move this thread.

I am thinking of selling my tooper armour as its been in storage for the last 6 months and I dont actually have anywhere to put it so there is not much point in me owning it. The only problem is I have no idea how much to ask for it, I dont know who it was made by, but it is in good condition. Could anyone advise as to what I should ask for it? I also have a resin blaster which I would sell with it. And also the mannequin can go with it to.

Sorry about the very poor pics, just used my phone and the armour was very quickly put on a mannequin.

id give ya 350.00 canadian for it, i dont need the maniquin though... its hard to say what is a realistic price , it looks like an FX suit , so my guess would be between 500.00 to 700.00 hope that helps . rod

Hard to tell what yours is...but if it is an FX suit...I'd say between $500 - $600 assembled. If it's one of the more accurate suits (TE, GF, AP, etc...), I would start at $800 - $900...

yeppers ^^^

id say between 4-500 would be a fair price, and would help it move quickly...

FX is becoming less and less desireable (sorry again to the FX crowd.) so if you arent using it, and can get 500 out of it now... go for it.

but at the same time, put an AP bucket with it, and you have a pretty darn nice display piece.

its not the armor that bothers me, in fact FX is VERY well made and good durable stuff for trooping.

its the dang 400 gallon bucket that turns me off...

shouldnt be hard to get rid of this time of year and if you go Ebay... you may get more than 600. who knows

but i think you should be prepared for offers as low as 4-500.

Last year around this time I sold my FX armor w/ AP helmet for $650. Straight FX should move around 500, and if you want to get a couple extra hundred include a cheap undersuit, cheap boots and a hasbro blaster painted black.

My last f/x suit, which this is, cost me $475 shipped into Canada from the US. I just bought some armour, no helmet, for $300 shipped. Considering this is assembled I'd say you should expect no more then $500 + shipping for it. Shipping will be more expensive because it is assembled, but thats a moot point really.

The resin blaster is anywhere from $75 to $150 depending on the mood of the day.

Mannequins, anywhere from $100 - $200, but shipping is expensive.

For the whole package - armour, blaster, mannequin, I'd say that you might be able to get $550 - $650 + shipping for it.

Good luck if you decide to sell it.
