These just in: My new replica Gladiator props

Hello fellow RPFers, the postman was just here and dropped off some packages for me. I wanted to share with everyone the new props that I just received from the movie Gladiator.
The helmet of Maximus

Now, the royal battle sword of General Maximus

Both of these props are finely crafted; the helmet is all steel where as the sword is made from wood, resin and steel with gold plated aluminum decorations; for the prices I paid, these are incredible pieces. Now it's time to find a place to display these:lol

Thanks all for the compliments; I do hope to build a sweet display for these two...however I need to sweet talk the wifey into letting me rearrange the place to make more room for these. :love I am looking for some nice but "cheap" armor so if anyone knows of such, any information would be greatly appreciated. :thumbsup Looking forward to your replies on that armor

Thanks; I bought both of these on eBay. The sword was only $69.00 and the helmet was $70.00 with shipping...would you believe me if I told you it came all the way from India? :lol Well it did and the piece is crafted superbly! I think these are great pieces; I'm very happy with them

A new budget armour set is a current WIP between Heatshock and I - the shoulder armour part is available now in the JY.

Otherwise, there is Todds costumes but be prepared to pay over $1000 for the body and shoulder armour there.
