This is the finished product. Anodized grips, shroud, emitter disc, shroud d-ring mount clamp, control box. The door latch is steel so I had to paint it. Nicjle plated d-rings and ONE BIG THANKS goes out to Kenny. This took about 5 years to make and yes... its made from a real GRAFLEX. :D Enjoy....

Great Idea and great job.. I have the exact same thing.. :D

I still have some anodizing to do though..

How did you do the graflex tip area? I also changed out the guts on mine to an all metal graflex blade socket. What are the parts not anodozed?

Thanks.

:unsure I had to paint it... I didnt want to do that.

Th e very tip of the Graflex tube and the door latch. The door latch was steel and I had to paint that too. :) Since you dont see very much of the socket anyway, I decided to just use a resin cast socket plug.

I admire your passion for the ROTJ Vader. I love my MR version, but have wanted to make my own.

My idea for the perfect ROTJ, is identical to yours, but with reveal-able guts and a ANH/ESB style emitter "teeth"

Hey Kal, yes those are the ones, as a matter of fact I'm in the process of ordering another set for my Luke ANH saber. :)
