what bugs me is the zombies' splashy, crimson blood. the cgi is cool, but sometimes i can't get past the fact that the blood should be dark and coagulated, like chunky molasses or something. i would accept the runny blood more easily if it were from a fresh zombie.

Michonne forever.

Man I was never so happy seeing someone get killed off on a show as the one A-hole prisoner did pony tail boy, I was like I can't deal with this guy Please! kill him off Lol, :popcorn

A great episode ,very surprised rick killed the inmate thought he would but 5 episodes down the line.
Love how the series is going and we are only 2 episodes in

Seriously though, do you think the producers were having a laugh when they gave chandler Riggs background the outside of a house?

One thing about the show I don't understand, if they're all already infected with this disease, how does being bitten by an infected turn them?

so, once again carl didnt stay in the house.

they explained that somewhere in s1 or 2. you die from infection when you get bitten, hurt by a zombie.
and when you die, you know what happens next.

No, I've heard who it is, and the person buried there explains a lot about some characters in our show. More curious as to how it will play out if at all.

I hope we don't have to wait half of the season till the brother Dixon reunite.

If you know who it is, then why can't you wait to find out who it is? :)

I must of missed it I didn't see Daryl vist any grave in tonight's episode, but now you got me all curious.

They put that in the trailer just to put it in. The trailer that showed that scene was a trailer highlighting scenes for the first half of the season. The scene with the grave doesn't happen for a little while.

For whoever asked how long it's been,...the script for s03x01 indicates 7 months have gone by.

Ill post a pretty decent spoiler tomorrow for next weeks episode ;)

In the mean-time click the spoiler tag for the next few episodes short description
Episode 3.03 - Walk With Me
Andrea and Michonne find a new community of survivors; a decision must be made.

Episode 3.04 - Killer Within
The group is severed, placing lives in jeopardy; Merle has a request for the Governor.

Episode 3.05 - Say the Word
Rick struggles after another loss; Michonne is suspicious of the Governor.

Not that it really bothers me but the biggest problem with a zombie biting through material like denim is that even with a very strong bite force and no pain receptors human teeth just aren't that sharp or pointy so they'd have a very hard time to tear through denim. Personally, I'd be investing in some armored sleeves and leggings to protect myself from bites since the arms and legs is where you'd be most likely to get bit. Nothing fancy, leather would work fine although some nice, modern police riot type gear would be ideal; light weight, not overly restricting, only problem is that it would be hard to come by.

Granted Rick didn't really know what was going on in the pilot but I'm sure the station had riot gear he could've grabbed.

IMO, the best strength to weight option is "shark maille" 5.33mm ring dia. welded SS. A shirt weighs about 7 pounds and totally wearable all day. I wear a chainmaille shirt in FL that's 15-20 pounds with ease.

Not a lot of shark diving in Atlanta.

Ring mesh is sold for lots of reasons to include butchers, medieval re-enactors, architectural decor, and LARPers.

Plus, just because someone lives in Atlanta doesn't mean they don't go diving. We had plenty of dive shops in Riyadh, KSA when I lived there.

Carl is now officially more useful than Lori.

Not that she's ever been good for anything besides laying back back and spreading her legs.

God, I have to wonder if the writers hate women. Kirkman didn't make all the women useless in the comics. Some were, sure, but most demonstrated some useful survival skills. In the show, the writers have pretty much made them worthless, except until the second half of last season, and only since then has Maggie stood out and Andrea gotten better.
Agreed.
These helpless woman scenarios tend to annoy me more than decomposed zombies biting through denim.
It was good to see Carol step up in the episode and take some initiative.

Okay in a post apocalyptic Zombie world that would'nt work to well it's not like they could drive to a Walmart and pick a few up or get online and find it :sick. Lol

don't know if this has been mentioned, but I noticed during the clear out of the prison yard when they were shooting from the towers, no-ones semi-auto seemed to be cycling. They kept shooting and flashes were appearing from the muzzle, but none of the slides were reacting.
