The Walking Dead Season 3

My predictions:

The Governor leads an assault on the prison, only to find that the Atlanta group has left, but opened all the doors in the prison to let Walkers in, and that most of his men get eaten while being trapped inside. Meanwhile, Daryl heads to Woodbury with the intention of taking out his pain and anger on the Governor for Merle's death, only to find Andrea and free her. At that time, Rick and the others show up and somehow destroy the main gate to Woodbury as a final "f#%k you" to the Governor before getting the hell out of dodge. When the Governor gets back, he finds most of the town's occupants being chewed on and resurrected, deciding to go on the hunt for them, no matter how far the Atlanta group tries to get away.

I could very well be wrong in my prediction.

Not bad. I could see that.

Interesting theory, I suppose it could happen if they pretty much abandon the entire comics storyline though.

Not necessarily. I mean, after reading The Walking Dead Magazine, Kirkman acknowledged that there was a chance that this may/may not be the Governor's only season.

Not bad. I could see that.

I know. The great thing about being a writer is seeing the possibilities of a story, seeing what directions could go. But, like I said, I could be wrong. But then again, I was right before (I predicted the true identity of a character in Caprica, who we only see in VR, to which I figured out was a character we were introduced to before. And sure enough, I was right).

I'm a bit thick tonight.

Who are you referring to?

You remember the character of Emmanuelle in the episode Ghosts in the Machine in Caprica? I was able to discover that she was really
Evelyn, Joseph Adama's assistant and future wife, by noticing a lot of small details before the episode of the reveal was aired (such as the fact that she called him "counselor" when he never told her what he did for a living, with the only other person referring to him as "counselor" in the show being Evelyn. Another detail was the fact that Emmanuelle looks like a younger version of Evelyn, which is backed up more when she explained her outer appearance after being shot in the arm).

That's a very sound theory CB but I'm not sure if I can agree with
the group destroying the main gate to Woodbury. They know full well that there are women and children in the town and ultimately Rick isn't a complete enough psycho to damn all those innocent people to their deaths. I can actually see Milton letting the group in and once they've left and the governors goon squad are wiped pit, the governor (being the sole survivor) will drag himself up to the front gate only to find Milton standing at the top telling him that he's in charge and the governor is no longer welcome in Woodbury.

Thus far, other than some slight deviations and character changes, they haven't altered the major events of the comic.

Hey if you have more correct information then feel free to share it. Back when season 1 was out there was some google maps going around of set locations and from what I remember most of them were way south of Macon. Except for the Atlanta scenes. Those were filmed behind my office building.

But as far as I'm concerned, anything OTP is the booines to me.

Oh I was just teasing you for referring to Savannah as "deep" south.

Words cannot describe the awesomeness that was HorrorHound Cincinnati this past weekend. The Rick Grimes build was a huge success and I believe there are hundreds of pictures of us floating around people's Facebooks and Twitters. One photo in particular was of the ultimate epicness status. It rolled through Twitter, Facebook and Tumbler rather quickly as soon as it was posted. Check out the awesome group shot:

Back row: Richard Feezle (Daryl), Normand Reedus, Lew Temple, Jason Spaulding (The Governor), Michael Rooker, Jasmine Anderson (Michonne), Matthew Kuebler (Dale). Front row: Chandler Riggs, Jon Bernthal, Jason Dempsey (Me, Rick Grimes), Sarah Wayne Callies, Scott Wilson.

Hak, that pic is amazing! You make a great Rick and I love that Sarah Wayne Callies was kind of getting into the act. VERY cool! :)

Cool story about that pic.. When I walked up to get in position, I stated to "Shane" (Jon Bernthal) and "Lori" (Sarah Callies) that they were sitting to close and that I think I should separate them. That got a chuckle out of them as well as the "who does this guy think he is" pose from Jon and the "I'm always with Rick" pose from Sarah. What a cool and gracious group of celebs!

That is an awesome picture.

Scott Wilson has such awesome facial hair. Every time he gets a close-up on the show, I'm mesmerized by his mustache. It's SO GOOD.

I had the chance to meet Jon briefly when he was here for ECCC. I have a friend who's a huge fan of the show and who usually volunteers, but he couldn't that year because his wife was sick... so I took his copy of the first volume of the comic trade and got it signed by Kirkman, Jon and Lori (Andrea). Jon was VERY sweet (he went out of his way to thank my husband who was working security as well) and took a few moments to write out a nice message to my friend.

He's definitely a class act and knowing that he was a great guy actually made me sad when Shane finally died.

True, but by busting open the gates, not only will it allow the Walkers to get in, but it will also allow those who wanted to leave earlier the chance to.

That's true as well, but I just can't see them doing a frontal assault on the town gates, especially with armed sentries. I think if they were to attack, they'd sneak in like before. I Actuslly had a thought that maybe they would lure a herd to woodbury's front gates.

I think ultimately Milton is going to discover Andrea while the governor is out galavanting which will push him over the edge and when Ricks group arrives, he'll simply let them in to get Andrea and leave.

Why is Rick going to Woodbury to get Andrea? He doesn't know she's been captured. The last time he saw Andrea, she was willingly getting into the Governor's vehicle after the "meeting". Rescuing Andrea is the farthest thing from his mind because he doesn't even know she needs to be rescued.

My guess is that Milton discovers Andrea in the torture room but he doesn't have the balls to do anything about it. However, he knows that Tyrese isn't FULLY onboard with the way things roll at Woodbury so he may try to recruit Tyrese and Sasha into helping him free Andrea.

Just read on MSNBC that

there will be 27 deaths and some may be favorites in the finale.
