The Walking Dead Season 3

I have a thought that the gov got bit.....he was definitely favoring his right side after he got back to the city.
I thought perhaps knifed by Andrea..

Not to mention the default action of the Governor would be to retreat to the truck to get away from the large group of walkers. Considering he had a gun and an unknown amount of ammo, a dangerously stupid action to go there.

His obsession with Michonne and this episode with Andrea convinced me the Governor doesn't know squat about tactics...or common sense. He's survived on charm and luck. Rick's group of 8(?) should have no problem luring this dope to his end, regardless of the Governor's .50 cals.

Re: Re: The Walking Dead Season 3

If you're referring to what would be called a fuller on a western sword you're info is wrong. Everything I've read says that the fuller was a means of reducing the weight of the blade without sacrificing much, if any, blade strength. Also, I'm no expert on katanas but I can't recall ever seeing one with a fuller, I seem to recall all katanas, no-dachis, and tahis as having fullerless blades.

As to the curvature, where did you read that it was the forging process that cause the curve? I've never heard that one before, I always believed that it was an intentional part of the katanas design to give it better cutting power much like scimitars and sabers are curved in order to cut better.

They put clay on one side and then fire it when it goes back into the water the blade curves against the clay. This adds a unique thing only the katana has and that's the curve during the initial processing. Others like the saber and skimitar are processed differently

So, after all the messed up stuff Andrea has seen in regards to the governor, it was a dentist chair that finally put it over the top for her enough to jump the walls and run off unarmed?

What was that silly guy thinking trying to take on Tyreese? lol

I'm really not liking Rick anymore. He leaves the helpless backpacker on the side of the road to be eaten alive, and wants to trade a friend to a psychopath just for the empty promise of being left alone.

With friends like that, I would leave this this group. Better to be alone vs walkers than in the prison or Woodbury.

DUDE. Don't even joke about that! They always say "now you'll just feel a slight bit of pressure" and then instead it's just pure, excrutiating pain! And then after that you feel completely violated. UGH. Seriously amazing torture device as far as I care.

Ha ha....SECONDED! I got the heebie jeebies just SEEING that speculum. It was practically the only thing my eyes focused on when they showed the table of torture.

I've been bored with the comic lately.

Really? The safe zone story is getting pretty good, plus there's a damn tiger in it now lol

I want a Crazy episode of high action, gun fights, kung-fu chops, Wu-Tang masters, fire destroying stuff, crossbow snipers and Death! Someone call Chuck Norris!

All I can say is wait til next weeks episode, you won't be disappointed ;) Except, no Chuck Norris or Wu-Tang masters. But everything else you listed will be there :)

I think I recognized everything on the table, but what was that thing that looked like it had a funnel?

To simulate drowning

There's no chance the Governor is going to be resolved with him just becoming a walker before facing the Prison.

A better question is, what if the Governor attacks the Prison with a walker Andrea?

I think the answer is everyone jockies for position to put a bullet in her head.

With only two episodes left this season, don't expect any big answers or surprises in the next two weeks. The war may start, but we will see it end next season.

What a good way to create dissention among the prison! Rick and company fighting among each other for the opportunity to pick off zombie Andrea. The Governor's A-team enters through a hole in a fence and offs the group!

An additional question- Does the clueless expression on Andrea's face change if she is a walker? Meaning, will he have less of a blank, uncomprehending stare as a zombie?

I was thinking about all the torture devices and what was said last night about keeping people alive for as long as possible. If the Gov truly believes that people keep a part of themselves when they turn, why bother keeping them alive? You could still torture them as walkers and not worry about killing them.
