The Walking Dead Season 2 Trailer

I liked how this episode picked up. Darryl's subconscious using Merle to egg him on and get him to safety. I don't normally get real into shows but when that zombie was biting Darryl's shoe, I was like "***** dude!!! Get the **** up!!! Grab a weapon!!! Don't you ****ing die!!!!"

I know what you mean about the shoe thing. When my mom and dad saw it, my Mom said, "$#IT! Get up, Darryl!" :lol

Seriously, this episode should have been titled "Darryl's Bad Day", as he got thrown from a horse, fell down a ledge, got an arrow stuck through his side, fell down the ledge a second time, attacked by two zombies and then, after he manages to make it to the Farm, gets shot by Andrea! If that's not a definition of a bad day, I don't know what else is.

So does this mean he's gonna go for Michonne too? They better bring in Michonne :|.

I hope they bring her in, she's definitely one of the coolest characters. Who would of thought a lawyer could be a badass sword swinging ninja haha.

As for Darryl and michonne, who knows? I mean Merle was a huge racist but they haven't really elaborated on darryl. On top of that, there is t-dawg and Morgan if they decide to bring him back.

As much time as they've spent dwelling on Andrea's issues, I'm surprised they didn't do anything with her after her almost killing Darryl.

Still way too slow, but this was probably the second best episode of the season.

I'm super jazzed for this next episode, it looks like all these slow episodes are gonna be made up for.

And yeah, Andrea is so much more of a level head in the comics. After Amy was killed, it's like she immediately snapped into hunter-mode and stayed that way. Which isn't necessarily accurate, seeing as how she went from not even knowing how to point a gun, to becoming a crack-shot.

Might just show that she's a natural shot. Even in the comics, she surprised Shane and Rick with how good she was for never having fired a gun before.

Oh, it's possible. I know this from personal experience. Never fired a handgun before, but my husband took me to the range and put his .45 in my hand. Even with the grip being almost too big for me to effectively hold, I more or less cored out the target at 30 feet. He was very proud. :)

I enjoyed this episode, I agree that Andrea is getting to be a little annoying, I mean was it really necessary for her to shoot even with Rick, Shane, T-Dawg etc all stood about 4 ft in front of Daryll, with weapons?? Goes against the whole 'saving ammo' thing too. I'm hoping she gets some sort of wake up call soon cos at the moment I'd be in favour of sending her to the barn to 'get some hay' :lol

So Hershel saw maggie and glenn passing notes but he didn't challenge them about it, even after talking to her about staying away from him? And where have the rest of his family been hiding these last few episodes? Don't tell me he fired up that generator so they can carry on their Mario Kart championship in secret upstairs:thumbsup

Ok, the more I think about this, the more it doesn't make sense.

Why did Andrea shoot Darryl? There were several able bodied men there that have taken out quite a few of the walkers between them - they're armed and Rick has his gun, if the blunt instruments would happen to fail.

The RV is on Hershel's land now, right? Hershel made it clear how he felt about guns, right? I'm sure a shot ringing out will make the old man plenty happy. Add to that, the sun glare, the potential walker (ie Darryl) is pretty much surrounded by Rick, Shane and T-Dog, both Rick and Dale telling her not to shoot and well, I'm sure Andrea's experience as a sniper is limited.

Is this just about Andrea's need to prove that she can shoot a gun? Is this just some stupid random act to drive the character's confidence and potential suicidal tendencies further along? (...and at the same time make Darryl even more martyr-ish?)

Just saw this week's episode. Never having read any of the Walking Dead comics, I can not comment on how close it sticks to them. However I can say the story is moving a bit slow, was nice to see Darryl's character develop some more and not be infected with the bite to his shoe. I think this season has a good story, just moving a little slow I want to see if they actually find Sophia and what happens now that Glenn knows what is in the barn. I am also assuming the walkers in the barn are Hershel's family turned into walkers? Some one correct me on this if I am wrong if you know different. Can not wait for next week's episode. One final thought that I find somewhat funny, in the info for this week's episode "Daryl is put in a very dangerous situation when his is forced to take on a hoard of walkers" I did not know a "hoard" is only two walkers, I would think it would be more like the 20 or so zombies that came passing through the interstate at once in a early episode this season(the one where sophia gets lost)

They mentioned it during the talking dead, saying that this season she's decided to no longer be a victim. Adding that to her personality type, it could seem that she's really trying hard to prove a point. It wasn't smart and no one really seemed mad about it, even Hershel. I'm sure it'll add to the tension, another reason he'd want them to leave.

I'm disappointed in myself for not noticing this until now, but if I had been Rick or Shane, I would of walked up to her and screamed until I tasted blood. Crack shot or not, considering the proximity of the guys to a supposed walker, any sort of wind change, or a twitch and that round could of easily hit Shane, Rick, or the others. She DEFINITELY should not be allowed to use a gun now.

I doubt Darryl and Michonne would happen. Tyreese seemed more like an overall nice guy (except when it came to his daughter and her boyfriend). Darryl tends to have an overall Dr. Jekyll/Mr. ******* attitude that is on a short fuse. If you don't get what I mean by that, I mean that sometimes he seems kind and compassionate while most of the other times he has a "go f#%k yourself" attitude. I don't think that's the kind of personality that Michonne would be attracted to (but then again, I'm at Vol. 3 of the comics, so I haven't really gotten into Michonne's introduction and story yet, so I could be wrong). Besides, with Darryl's background prior to the zombie apocalypse and with Merle (as I'm sure someone in the group would tell her of the past travels of the group), she may be hesitant to even consider him a likely candidate for being a lover.

It's her ego. She's desperate to 'prove' that she can contribute more than 'women' work. I was really annoyed that Dale let her off the hook (though I can understand that because he's got a thing for her for some reason) and I really hope that the others take her to task for this bit of idiocy, though the further we get from the incident time-wise, the less likely it is.

I agree with this. The first indication that it was her trying to prove herself was when Dale checked up on her at the start of the scene, where she said she didn't want to do women's work. You can see in her face after she made the shot that she was proud to have made it, only to then realize afterward that she made a mistake. If I were Rick and Shane, I would revoke her gun privileges because of this.

The funny thing, this incident is quite the opposite of the character in the comic. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Andrea in the comics one of the best shooters of the group? I guess the show is basically ironizing her.*

*- Yes, ironizing is a word.

I think she was just trying to prove she should have a gun and is tough enough to do more than serve the men.
