The Walking Dead Season 2 Trailer

Season 3 is going to happen, as if there was any doubt.
The Walking Dead on Track for Third Season « The Walking Dead
I enjoyed last nights episode. Definitly had a Lost vibe witht he flashback as was mentioned.

I found it hard not to get a bit choked up seeing what Carl was going through. I hope Daryl stays on a long time. I'm really enjoying his character, and man...that was awesome when he came up with his brothers...meds...who has been known to suffer from a case of the clap from time to time.

You just know Merle is going to have to make a return at some point. Next week's episode can't come soon enough.

I have been a little dissapointed so far this season. I just feel after two episodes we should see the story progress a little more.

I think they're on track so far. I mean they're only 2 episodes into the season. You don't want too much stuff going on in one season .

/\ I think he is concerned that it is gonna be a short season like season 1, where we are 2 episodes in, and he doesn't want it to be only 6 episodes.

He doesn't need to worry then. My understanding is that Season 2 is 13 episodes.

I know this isn't show related, but a little FYI for TWD fans who like to collect things, action figures of Michonne and Rick Grimes, as well as two zombies, are in stores now (I spotted a couple of them when I was passing through Toys 'R' Us earlier when I was there earlier to see if if they had any left over TRON: Legacy Identity Discs, ended up snagging a BSG figure in the process and running into another BSG fan, and gave him the address of the RPF as he was interested in doing some BSG props).

I just hope they don't take 6 episodes and stretch it into 13 episodes. These past 2 episodes have been dead slow (pun intended).

This season is definitely 13 episodes. Walking Dead has been smashing ratings again, and they have already signed the deal for Season 3!

A good day to be a Dead fan:)
AMC announced today the renewal of The Walking Dead for a third season. Season 2 continues to deliver the strongest telecasts for any drama in basic cable history against Adults 18-49 shattering a basic cable record set nearly 10 years ago for a single drama telecast (The Dead Zone). The Walking Dead is based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman and published by Image Comics. Glen Mazzara serves as series' showrunner. Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, David Alpert and Frank Darabont are executive producers. Greg Nicotero is a co-executive producer.

"Today we are pleased to announce that the 'dead' shall live as we proudly renew The Walking Dead for a third season on AMC and, globally, with our terrific partners at Fox International Channels," said Charlie Collier, AMC's President. "We are thankful for everyone's contribution in front of and behind the camera as we continue to make The Walking Dead a unique television experience. And, we are so proud as it continues to set viewership records around the world."

Am I the only one ticked that Shane is still alive?

...this move has me contemplating not watching the show. I generally am Okay with changing aspects between different media (as long as you keep the 'heart' of it intact)... but, I think not having Carl behind Shane's death cheapens the show a bit.

yes I am right there with you. Of course i didn't know that the " laying under the car to avoid zombies " worked so well. One week it's smell they are attracted to and the next with blood.

Boy, I guess I should be careful what I wish for... when the episode started, I was really saying "God, they REALLY need to start Shane on some character evolution."

Not exactly what I expected, but it does cement the idea that he's really not as nice a guy as people think.
