The Ultimate MacGuffin! Maltese Falcon WIP

So I started this back in 2019 when I watched the movie for the millionth time and wished (for the millionth time) that I could own one. Spent several weeks sourcing reference and screencapping the hell out of my DVD and hit the Monster Clay HARD!
Life and other distractions then got in the way and it's been up on a shelf gathering dust since until yesterday when I pulled it down and thought, "I should really finish this at some point in between my Thunderbird 2 scratch build and other projects." So I'm hunting out all my old reference again.
Long story short, I present my WIP of the dingus. There's a lot of talon work and detail adjusting to do but I'm hoping to actually finish this damn thing by the end of this year (I'm easily distracted)

Thanks everyone! I'm still trying to find time.to actually do anything to do it - homeschooling and finishing other private build commissions that keep getting in the way. I'm reacquainting myself with the reference again and my sculpting tools are beginning to call to me.
I'm not sure about a run yet - I've never properly made a mold or cast in resin at this size yet but if it goes well ...
