Does anyone else have one or two things that seem to just jump off you shelf while you're cleaning? I had the day off so I decided to dust all my stuff of. It seems like 1 out of every 2 times I remove my GG Chewbacca statue from the base, C-3PO falls off his back no matter how careful I am. I think it's been glued back together at least five times.

Cleaning? I had to mount my action figures to the shelves with double sided tape or leave the transformers in vehicle mode because walking on the treadmill or working in the basement makes them move. I had my one anime figure take a dive (into my dirty laundry thankfully) today when i had my home theater cranked.

I have a PG Gundam Red Frame Astray that constantly decided to make a leap for freedom, generally ending up in a mangled pile on the floor!

And a 18" Evil Dead Ash that has attacked several people by leap from the top of the bookcase and attemptnig to impale them with his chainsaw!!

it's not you..............prop poltergeists!!! :)

Prop poltergeists….that explains it!

The day before yesterday I was sitting in the living room watching TV when I heard a loud “BOOM” from my bedroom. I ran down the hallway to find a glass shelf containing some of my props and Trek bottles had collapsed sending glass shards everywhere. Several bottles were broken or damaged including a never opened George Dickel powder horn that I had bought in 1993. My PKE meter’s hood was chipped, Neca Jason hockey mask was in four pieces and Marvin’s HGTTG gun was shattered like an egg.

Everything had been dusted last week and nothing out of the ordinary was found. Too much weight is the only thing I can think of.

I've got a bunch of Star Trek PADDs on display stands. I've got quite a few of them and they're displayed pretty close together. Accidentally knock one over and they all go down, like dominoes. Leads to some &$*%@!, but so far no breakage.

I manged to break off the antennas on my GG Commander Cody bust, WHILE taking it out of the package for the first time. Fixed it, and you can't notice unless you go in there with a magnifying glass, but still...

I also have a Detolf that does not have earthquake straps on it yet, that I'm kinda worried about but right now its out of sight out of mind.

As for other stuff... I am a pro at breaking Dremel cutting wheels.

I usually build stuff in the same room my collection is in. It's a miracle none of the flying fragments from those things has hit anything yet! :lol I started using those new type that have a mandrel that the reinforced wheels click onto.
