The Secret Life Of Pets (Post-release)

Saw it last night. I would say it was a good movie with a good amount of laughs. There is some feels in there for sure if you had ever loved a pet in your life time. I even got a I'm not crying,it's just something in my eye moment thinking about my dog that passed away. The biggest problem with the film is the bunny / snowball voiced by Kevin hart. The bunny is funny at times, but classic Kevin hart. So you basically just want to get up, get into your car. Drive to where ever he is and punch him in the face. If you can't tell I'm sick of that guy. I swear he made a deal with the devil or Hollywood is trying to force him down out throats as the cool new black guy to replace old school Eddie Murphy or Chris Rock.

The best parts are the moments when the owners leave. Showing how each pet reacts to being left alone.

The poodle does rock out to system of a down. Hang out for a bit more of the movie after part of the credits roll.

Saw it Friday. Enjoyed it, but was hoping for something more... sophisticated maybe? Very similar to Toy Story, but less original, with some loony tunes slapstick moments. IMO, not on par with Despicable Me (which seemed way more original & sincere in comparison).

Kevin Hart really pulled me out of the movie almost every time his character spoke, but the rest of the characters were really entertaining.

Some fun moments and a few that brought a tear to my (wife's!) eyes *ahem*...

This was the first kids movie I've watched in the theatre since Toy Story. I thought it was alright, a cute movie. The poodle was the best part!

Im not use to hearing Louis CK with such a non vulgar dialogue

I tend to see most of them. usually in the fourth week after the kiddies have long since moved on to the next thing.

It's funny, as someone who is trying to learn 3D, I deconstruct the movie as i watch it. hmm, that building element is repeated. there are only two unique levels to it. They built three window frames and repeated it a bunch of times over. i don't even WANT to know how long it took to make a realistic Manhattan. that one shot of the dog shaking water out his fur probably took 40 computers 200 days to render ;o)

it's so nice to go in to a movie and just enjoy it. i wish there was more of this. take note hollywood franchise rebooters.

this one, like dory, is a 3D buying keeper.
