So I saw this promo while watching KAPOW: Superhero Science on Science Channel. I'm totally looking forward to seeing this show. It's reportedly supposed to be an 8 part series with each episode exploring the ways that the ideas popularized by Science Fiction authors and film makers have influenced technology and how much of what they wrote about is coming to be part of our everyday lives.

They actually had a one or two part series before by this title so I thought maybe it got picked up into a full series. I know the ones i saw had no Ridley Scott parts though.

Yeah, the one I saw was about H.G. Wells and Jules Vernne I think. May have had some Arthur C. Clarke in it.
