The Original Avp Movie Script In Full

all I got to say is WoW that is one hell of a movie. I wish it took the place of the avp movie made or took the place of the second avp avpr. I liked the first avp it was ok. but I hated the second one cause it was way to dark so u couldn't see a thing. thanks for posting this script!!!

Nice find! I would love to read this in novelization form. This would make an awesome book, as well as a feature film.  I wonder if Peter only does screenplays? If not, I would love to see HIM do a few AVP novels for DarkHorse. He's got the right idea. His 'Hiroko', sounds great, from what I can gather of her, from the scripts, she's much more relatable, and has a gretaer aspect of believability as a character than, Perry's 'Machico'.

This script by Peter Briggs was supposed to be used to make the first AVP back in 1993, at the last moment Fox anbandonned the project (too expansive)
the jap at Capcom bought the rights to Fox to make an arcade videogame , wanting to capitalize on the hype created by the movie, when the japs knew that Fox didn't release AVP, their game was almost finished, so they finished it and released it worldwide.

The game was very loosely based on Briggs script. (AVP/ CAPCOM/ CPS 2/ BEAT EM UP) For those who are fans of old games, or who grew up with it, it's the best beat 'em up ever done in terme of playability, and themes.

There are some wrong stuffs in this script (the pred using a pulse rifle ? ...) but it is vastly superior to the horrible stories from AVP and AVPR.
And the ending is excellent.
