The next release of the Tomenosuke Blaster from Blade Runner

I'll keep the pictures to a minimum as the ones I took really don't do it justice and there are plenty here already.

But I feel most importantly for UK and Canada....

This was inlcuded inside the USPS box (which was opened and re-sealed by UK customs). Nice touch HCG and much appreciated, I'm sure it went towards the decision to allow it in. Also the cutoms declaration stated "Plastic Toy" on the package.

I can only hope this provides some confidence to those anxiously waiting in countries like mine with ridiculous laws in place. It really is a beautiful piece and will take pride of place in my "man cave" when I move into my new house next month.

Mine ships out tomorrow I guess... then we see if Canada Customs considers this a replica fire arm... and how much one man can cry if they do.

Shouldn't have any issues, especially with the letter enclosed with it. Although I suspect you will have to pay an additional customs fee on it. In Canada you almost always do. I had to pay duty on my Offworld Inc model blaster and duty on some Valyrian Steel swords I bought so it's best to just expect it and be pleasantly surprised if you don't.

I'm doing the payment in installments plan on my blaster, so it is going to be a while yet before I'll be seeing mine.

I too had a problem of the cylinder opening/closing a little stiffly at first, then to the point of thinking if I force it anymore I may break it.

After a little examination I found the ejector rod was loose and was unscrewing itself by increments every time a round cycled or when spinning the cylinder. I just pushed the central pin towards the barrel and the ejection rod protudes enough to allow me to screw it tight.

No longer sticks.

One other thing that I'm going to tinker with over the weekend is to tighten the bolt lever as it's a little too loose for my liking. It can be easily rectified by adding a rubber washer to the inside of upper reciever. Here:

Anyone know of anyone in Australia own or get one of these?
I think our customs would seize it in a heartbeat

Yeah they would. So glad those super strict laws have stayed that side of the ditch and not made their way to Aotearoa. Poor Aussies, not just the rugby we beat them at. [emoji12]

I fixed the loose bolt lever. 1 x rubber washer and a pair of tweezers.

I just cut a section of the rubber washer out to fit over the rod that the bolt runs on and popped it in there. Was the perfect size and the bolt now has a satisfying clunk when it meets a bit of resistance and hits home. Most importantly it's nice and snug with no rattle.

Thank you for all the photos guys.

It's hard to tell from the pics.

Does it look real good Blueish wise???

In some comparison pics it is hard for me to see the difference but it may be my middle aged eyes.

Thanks again.

I may be clear of customs... I'll know when it shows up tomorrow (the date for delivery)

So glad to hear another canuck got through... super stoked for tomorrow.

Mine just cleared NZ customs, after paying $240 in GST (goods and services tax). Thankfully I can claim that back against the business. The perks of being in the film/video industry. Lol. Should have it in hand tomorrow. Whoop whoop!

Aaaand it's in!

Only bummer, rip on the box. Great box art torn cuz they taped the packing bubbles to it. :behave - smart.

So the trigger only pulls when I have the cylinder out... tips? it's all in Japanese, heh.
