Hey guys!
I’m posting this in the replica props section, because this is where I used to post all my sabers…..
Wow, it’s been a while since I posted here. Sorry about that- I just haven’t been that active with Star Wars- or props for that matter- in the last few years. My wife’s brain cancer treatment derailed a lot of things and really consumed our lives.
Some old-timers here from the early 2000s may remember me
Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone here can help me out. Over the last several years, starting in the early 2000s, I’ve seen a lot of websites- particularly gaming sites- using mods and designs based on some of my ideas. Particularly, the names “Darth Nemesis” and “Rodann”, which are both names that I gave myself here, in relation to some custom sabers I built. I’ve logged into some of these websites talking about my characters, to set the record straight, to find my names are already being used. Frustrating, to say the least.
Long story short, I was a machinist here, and I used to do a lot of custom props and replicas. My ideas were put on a website (not entirely with my permission), which diluted any copyright I may have had on my ideas (if any), and now I keep (frustratingly) bumping into old websites that are arguing about my characters, their abilities, and how “stupid” the names are…..
So if anyone here belongs to a website where guys are arguing about these characters, could you please set them straight for me. The names originated here, where I showed off my designs.
I’ve found old stuff in Obsidian, Nexus, Jedi Council Forums, TruSabers, etc….. If anybody here has ever had an idea or copyright stolen and you probably know how it feels. It’s just really weird, and unsettling. Just feeling old, and wanting to set the record straight.
But this is what I randomly find on some websites, prompting people to argue about it like it was meant for them. Even though it gives me credit at the bottom, it still doesn’t seem to matter to a lot of people:

Darth Nemesis, The Nemesi Order (also see Crimson Mortem)
This is the oldest working single unit lightsaber known to exist. It was wielded by a sadistic Dark Jedi of the Sith in it's golden age. Not only was it used as a lightseptor but as a tool of torture. Nemesis took pleasure in making his enemies writhe in pain before finishing them off. This formidable weapon could be hurled across a room and impale it's unfortunate victim. The second rear activation crystal would activate on impact assuring the kill. Darth Nemeisis' reign of terror came to an end when the Jedi Rodann swiftly ended his life. This artifact now resides in the Jedi Temple as a reminder: the Sith may still be among us.
