I just finished all three models of the maintenance droids ('Dewey', 'Huey' and 'Louie') from "SILENT RUNNING". Yes, the are playing cards (and cheating).
These were designed by UHU02 (for those who do not know, UHU02 is a designer from Japan). Here is his website:

Paper/cardstock is a medium that I have always enjoyed building models in. It is very inexpensive as a whole. If you buy an already made template, you should always scan it and build the scan. That way, you retain the original and if you make a mistake you can reprint it. If you download the template, again you can print it out to make repairs or even add detail to the existing model.
