The Losers - Jensen's glasses.

So, it seems that getting hold of simple circular-framed glasses is harder than one would assume!

Does anyone know where I can acquire a pair of these, please?

Depends on how close you want them. Do a search for round metal saddle bridge eyeglasses. The saddle bridge part will filter out a lot of them. I hate to recommend them just because I don't like the name being used for such things but a quick search brought up the John Lennon brand "Peace" eyeglass frame which can be found on ebay. It's a little more oval but it might work. Berkshire Chase/Savile Row(Indy Jones glasses) make a nice round saddle but it's definitely not the one Evans wears. I'll keep a lookout for something close. Without much better pics, or even with, it's gonna be nearly impossible to find the exact frame.

Here's a couple of good pics for you.

Thanks - Lennon ones are fine, as these will be my actual specs as well as useful for costuming Jensen ;)
Just trying to find somewhere in the UK that stocks them.

This seller will ship to the UK and the price is great.

The problem with the NHS glasses(same as Lennon's real glasses, Indy's, Potter's, etc) is that the Losers frame is more of a modern take on the old one. Speaking from experience, I have two of the Indy/Lennon Algha frames, they don't look or wear like a modern frame.

The "John Lennon" frame I'm referring to is just a licensed product, not an original, but it looks more like the Losers frame than does an original or a reproduction.

On the last frame linked, don't know if it matters but it has standard nose pads rather than a saddle bridge so it's less screen accurate(and less attractive IMO).

Ta - the eBay link isn't for actual circular frames, though.
There are some cheap ones in China, I'll maybe snag one of those for accuracy once I have my actual everyday specs sorted :)

Gotcha, I thought you meant a few posts up that you liked that particular frame, which I mentioned was a little oval in my first post.

Don't know if you've ever worn pure round frames, they're hard to pull off. You have to be pretty confident in your choice.

Good luck, I'll keep an eye out.

I never have - But my 4 year old son and one of my best mates commented whilst watching The Losers... "That's a skinny version of you!"
;)
