On the new cover of Empire Magazine:
A lot of things look hand done, but the one 'off the shelf' thing that immediately I recognized was the boots. One can clearly make out the boots of the Knight (known possibly as 'The Armory') holding the cudgel immediately to Kylo's right wearing what are definitely Japanese workman/fireman boots. It's possible the rubber textured toe over the steel toe has been smoothed down, but those are definitely Japanese boots. Now what I am trying to determine are what type they are as these type of boots come in different quality types. From simple canvas all the way to high quality leather. With all the folding of the cloth, I'm actually leaning towards the simple type like these:

Then you have another version like these:
Rakuten
And then there's the street-shiek type that look very 'Star Wars' but don't have the wrinkling seen in the photo.

Whatever the case, any of these boots are awesome for different types of cosplay. They even have split-toed versions that work well with cyberpunk type of outfits. The other things I'm trying to figure out are the gloves. Something tells me they too are off the shelf. With better photos, I'm sure someone can identify them. Right now "The Armory" guy with the cudgel, you can see the front of his gloves and the stitching to a degree. If someone out there is knowledgeable and recognizes them, please let us know.
