Wow, this is looking beautiful! It's going to be a wonderful piece!

Just a quick, stupid, English question...Is that a Nickle or a Dime in the photos? It's been nearly 5 years since I was last in the States!

Thanx Pete! It's a dime (approx. 18mm across)

Re: kits? - the 1st few Pre-Order runs will most likely be offered - pre-assembled & finished painted.
Kits unfinished, that you can paint & assemble - we'll see...

Next-up: the Center section & then - the other shape of air tanks.

When this project is complete I'll introduce the craftsman who's been turning the lathe.

Hmm. the perforated tube looks somewhat like the center core of a spin-on oil filter, although it may be hard to find a small enough filter.

Thanx fellas & Welcome to the RPF!

The screens are Done. The reason I'm going with what I already have is -
if the holes are too numerous or small - replicating the holes (when casting) could become a problem...
Ideally, I'd like to get as many of these in as many hands as possible, but I'd like to keep the quality of the castings consistent.

Anyway you do it I am interested in a kit, also my wife's mother may of had those "suspect" curlers but probably no longer. I could check Alameda which has a ton of Antique shops, it's been a while!

Nice CG! I tried mapping & drilling by hand (at first) but found a manufactured paper product that featured
the hole size & spacing that I felt this project needed for ease of casting.

The older I get & the more affordable CG & rapid printing (growing) parts becomes, the more excited I get.

Again, very nice CG work & as F A S T as you drew it,
...paying an hourly rate for a CGI Craftsman isn't the budget Killer that it had been in the past!

The partz required to complete the Jedi A-99 Aqua Breather build are FIN!!!

At this time I wish to thank my Great & Good Friend:
Stephen 'Crash' McConnel for his Turn of the Lathe.
(at the close of these posts - I will share pics of some of Stephen's other Creations)

Next, I will complete & prep these partz for molds & casting.

Look for my Jedi A-99 Aqua Breather post & Pre-Order Discount Offer
in the RPF Junkyard in approx. 2 to 3 weeks. (maybe sooner)

And Thanx for your continued interest & support of my Projects.
- Mikel / Modeleer
