THX...yes I did ended up...only 4 hours were enough to become shoulder pains. I will definitely wear some pads next time.

What kind of foam did you use? where can you get it? What kind of Glue? will it hold up to a day of use or 2? Any help would be grateful!

EVA foam, used in foam camping/yoga mats that you can find wire cheaply.

Hot glue or contact adhesive works well.

They'll usually hold up fairly well depending on how roughly you treat it or if you have pieces that might catch on each other.
