didn't see the movie yet, but I got a chance to see the incredible cross-sections spread and it explicitly mentions the rotational turret as a modification made by an owner after Han.

by the way Astroboy, that's one spoiler I don't mind at all. I was really concerned JJ might think blowing up our gal might be a good idea. Glad to hear she makes it to the end.

I made my streaks whit a charcoal pencil and the rust with a pant brush .
