No, he was definitely acting in the film. No doubt he get's type-casted and asked to play the same role over and over, but he did a good job in Lego Movie, IMO.

Was he doing voice over? If so not much acting skill needed. I hate how big names do voices for cartoons n stuff. They killed off a great deal of voice actors for just a money grab.

A lot of voice actors would disagree. It takes just as much skill, if not more.

No I haven't seen it yet and going to soon. Everyone is raving about as a great movie. So it's on my list of things to do.

Voice acting can be very hard to pull off right. It's a skill that most people can not do. The thing with A list actors is that they can only do their normal speaking voice. Since its what the studio wants the audience to hear. While most voice actors have many more inner voices and characters in their arsenal. When I see someone who did a voice and looks like some one I would never think did it is mind blowing. Instead of yeah thats Ray Romano as a elephant. But I'm a huge old cartoon fan, so I'll give them the nod over A listers.

will ferral to me is a better 2nd actor in a movie than the main pull. He is good no doubt about it, but seems to shine more when your not mainly to focus on him.
