Been lurking around the Fifth Element threads for a while now and when Superkrates announced an upcoming kit for one of my all time fav weapons, the ZF-1, i got thinking about another favorite prop, the 4 A DAY smoke dispenser. Please excuse the crappy pics, if anyone has some better quality ones, please post.

ive searched around and cant find anything on it so will just start wth the very basics. At the moment its just going to be a very basic, static replica mostly made from wood. If a one piece mold is or was made available then im thinking that a totally functional version would come to life. First thoughts on this one is to do it in sections, cladding the cut wood with glued plastic document protector and finish with a semi gloss back.. The "QUIT SMOKING" lettering is easy enough to organise but if anyone can post anything they have on the other graphics used on the replica it would be great.

Just playing around with this at the moment so any input from others would be most welcome and appreciated.

That'll be cool.. I've been looking at a lot of Fifth Element things that I'd like and this is one.. Been trying to get a hold of screen used cigarettes, but no luck..
 
Hmmmm. Kinda forgot about this one. In the movie it kinda reminded me of a modified coin despenser, with the front removed. The kind you would find in a POP machine that is.

In all the time i've been a member there has never been this much activity in relation to The Fifth Element, i'm loving it! Just wish I had more money!
 
Thanks very much guys and those pics are great zorg.

This thankfully doesnt need the level of research and tracking down of found parts that has gone into the other FE props here but its not going to be quite as easy as i first thought. If anyone knows of any other pictures other than screencaps of the unit, i could really use any extra detail. Cheers.

Cool prop project! FE is one of those movies that just gets better, with new details noticed, every time I watch it.

Im hoping this will inspire someone with the means and ability to make a cast version. Have gone through the variations in my head of ways to make it a fully working model but its impossible with my version.
 
Managed to get most of it finished, need to find another picture of the c/r side as theres some detail i cant really see, will also tidy up that side near the top.

I know i can get the correct QUIT SMOKING and TO QUIT IS MY GOAL lettering, not the glittery version transfers but not sure how to find the 4 A DAY logo, any help there would be appreciated and also the text of the writing behind the tubes would be great.
