The Empire Strikes Back SUCKS!!!

Anyone who thinks ESB sucks should be lobotomized. Or already has been. (No offense: I assume this thread is just a snarky response to the ROTJ thread? I mean, you are kidding, right?)

"That would be telling." --Number 2 (Leo McKern), The Prisoner

Saying ESB sucks is the same as punching a puppy. You like puppies, don't ya Mic?

:lol^Oh no he did'nt. Dude(TOS)...ya better put a caption in that photo saying no real puppy was hurt!

"Oh... that was a bit off sides wasn't it. He'll be crying himself to sleep tonight on his huge pillow."--Stuart MacKenzie (Mike Myers), So, I Married An Axe Murderer.

My apologies.

Do have to point out that Luke and Leia being related wasn't revealed until ROTJ.

Why didn't Yoda go with Luke? 900 Years old he may have been, but I bet he could have kicked Trooper ass, and Vader's as well, but nooooo, "Go back to my hut, and have some stew I will."

It's no wonder the Empire lost, if you are a mediocre officer like Piett, all you have to do is keep your nose clean, and your idiot superiors will get offed by Vader, and up the ladder you go. Wally from Dilbert would be a Grand Admiral.

And to Hell with Han Solo, He KNEW Luke had the hots for Leia, and since no one knew at the time that they were related, Han moved in on his friends Girl. BROS BEFORE HOS HAN, BROS BEFORE HOS.

To know Mike is to love Mike. But just like my other post in another thread:

Can you PLEASE change your avatar to this:

So thread after thread of movie hate goes on and on. I defend them and I am the grumpy guy.

I don't get that.

You're all a bunch of negative nannies. So there.

(BTW, if any of you are really worried about me, you take this all too serious. Like you're movie going.) :lol:lol

Well, technically a movie can't "suck" as that would imply a change in air pressure. movies just run through the reel if they are films or video cassettes and spin if they are DVDs while putting pretty pictures and sound on a screen somewhere. There is no sign of high pressure or low pressure that I can detect, except maybe for a cooling fan. And in that case, technically it is the projector or player that is doing the sucking, not the movie.

BTW, as for Vader with a plate and glass in front of him, see the ESB episode of "Robot Chicken" for the answer to that situation. :D

Yeah, films blow, they don't suck.

Especially IMAX!

(Sorry, that's an optical geek joke.)
