Well, technically a movie can't "suck" as that would imply a change in air pressure. movies just run through the reel if they are films or video cassettes and spin if they are DVDs while putting pretty pictures and sound on a screen somewhere. There is no sign of high pressure or low pressure that I can detect, except maybe for a cooling fan. And in that case, technically it is the projector or player that is doing the sucking, not the movie.

BTW, as for Vader with a plate and glass in front of him, see the ESB episode of "Robot Chicken" for the answer to that situation.
