There are always the older ones for that. You're not getting it. He knew this film was going to be ominous. What chuck is saying is that he'd like to have had a batman film that he could have taken kids to.

You didn't find it jarring that he could scale a wall after having his broken back fixed by just pushing it back in?
Especially when he had him down and it was clear Wayne was done, yet he continued to smash his face. I started getting genuinely anxious. After that exchange, I was completely invested. Was anyone else genuinely worried for Bats when he fought Bane the first time? I sure was- since I knew the movie was DARK.
I had done my best to avoid spoilers so I had no idea what was coming! I didn't know just how bad Bats was going to GET IT
I even glanced over at my girlfriend and she was wincing the whole fight
I took it as if the transaction Bane did to rip Wayne of his wealth was reversed, then it was to be used to help fix the city, with Alfred being the custodian.secondly i thought for a long time batman would die at the end of the film and i really wish the film ended at the funeral and that there was no cafe scene because he died as the symbol the city needed if he survived why didn't he come back to help put Gotham back to how it was before bane arrived all the series he wanted Gotham to be a nice place and he's left it worse then ever?

Bruce never abandoned Gotham... he just abandoned the destructive path he had taken to attempt to live a normal life. He'd still try to care for Gotham, just not through Batman.
i had to read a few posts just to make sure that all spoilers where out i want to discus robin and the cafe. first of all let me say i thought the film was incredible it was dynamic and had a different feel to the others which i loved i wasn't keen on the bat being broken then he managed to return so quickly but it worked in the film i expected John to that azrele role as the batman to kill Bane. no he become blooming Robin i guessed it from the minute he was cast but thought no Bale won't like it and neither will Nolan and then more and more thing confirmed it. now i personally hate Robin always have i can tolerate Red Hood story arc but that's about it. bale said if they put robin in he'll chain himself to his trailer and yet he still appeared are we gonna get a Nightwing sequel? what do you guys think of Robin
secondly i thought for a long time batman would die at the end of the film and i really wish the film ended at the funeral and that there was no cafe scene because he died as the symbol the city needed if he survived why didn't he come back to help put Gotham back to how it was before bane arrived all the series he wanted Gotham to be a nice place and he's left it worse then ever?
don't get me wrong i loved it as a film i just felt it opened up some plot holes towards the end
