TFU; The Ultimate Evil; I have a Secret too

The Clone Emperor

Well-Known Member
Greetings, I have been keeping this project secret for over four months, with the notion I would not surface until it was complete. Now that The Force Unleashed has been released and this character has been revealed, I feel it might serve better to share my progress. It is actually a release for me just to share this much.

I am proud to say this is NOT PEPAKURA.

Not that there is anything wrong with Pepakura--the software that allows folk to print out the facets of 3-D models for easy assembly--it is just a different animal than sculpting by hand and from scratch.

Be well,
Thomas

That helmet is looking super crisp! Pepakura is a funny beast, I think if you have even a basic ability to sculpt, clay is actually cheaper easier and faster to use. Can't wait to see the rest of the armour come to life.

VERY cool helmet! I like the Boushhy mouthpiece. Gonna have to get this game at some point.

Hey Thomas, awesome work on that helmet, as always !

And a (very belated) happy birthday to you !

I think that was the most frightening Sith character yet. The helmet looks great, can't wait to see what you do for the bionic arm.

My guess:

The image shadow in the upper left is a part of both the image in the lower right and the mark of your blood sacrifice for this project.

Your presentations have a lot more to look at than just costume and armor parts.

:cool

Ok. I don't remember this one at all. What character was it? I'm starting to wonder if some of the ps2 (yes, I don't own anything higher than that) left some of the stuff out. The abridged version if you will.

Looks great by the way!

so how does that ending stay in continuity with the OT? You can't kill Vader...right?!?!

Good evening,

TCE2008WIP.jpg

It is not an action figure collection, it is a portfolio.

1. Vielen Dank Michael. I am stunned (and touched) that you should know my birthday.

2. The braid on this character was conceived as a trophy. Its place on the apprentice's helmet as introduced in the final video game however is a non sequitur.

3. Bill, you are an observant man. I'd expect no less from the level of detail you put into your own creations.

4. As to the concern of Lucas Films granting "canon" status to The Force Unleashed;

SPOILER TO FOLLOW
There is a canon ending to the game that dove tails nicely into the movie story line. The appearance of the Secret Apprentice I am working on is the monstrosity he becomes if you choose vengeance over redemption--the non canon ending.

This same appearance of the character does appear in the canon novelization of The Force Unleashed--as part of a chilling vision of possible futures.

¿Is the character canon? I can honestly say I do not care. I am making the costume for myself--which is a good thing considering I will have to be the one to wear it.

Thank you to all for your support.

Be well,
Thomas

That alternate ending is not meant to be continuous or canon. It's just a "what if?" scenario.

Ah I got it. I didn't know there was a "what if" ending. I thought it might be a different ending on another format.

I don't really care about stuff being canon either...so I hope you didn't take offense to my comments.

I like the helmet, very nice. :thumbsup
