Terra Nova?

My DVR apparently has decided I am not allowed to see this show.

Ever recording of it has messed up.

Maybe it knows something I don't.

Creepy.

Well we all knew that silly! :rolleyes

I tell you though they are going by a master plan ;)

There was no episode this week because of the World Series. Had nothing to do with what anyone thought/thinks of the show.

I think the writing was on the wall, though, when they announced the season finale' for december after 2-3 weeks of the show being on.

I feel the same way Lynn. I de-tune the analytical part of my brain when I watch shows like this, because I deal with enough details at work every day as it is. It's nice to just sit back and watch something for the fun of it without picking it to pieces. Guns, explosions, time travel, dinosaurs...I'm not exactly expecting The Godfather when I turn this show on. :)

Damn you guys are harsh on this show, as most others.
I thought the episode was pretty good. Heck the whole show is good.

I'm glad I don't see it through your eyes, I get to enjoy things.

Lynn

I'm really watching this for the premise, the setting and the on going mystery of what Terra Nova really is. The characters are intriguing to watch too - something about that guy that plays Taylor, I don't know what, but I like it. Him and Jim both... the bar guy and the girlfriend are both interesting as is the head of the sixers. They did a great job of casting.

However, amazing plots I think are going to be difficult to pull off in such a fantasy type show. It isn't bothering me that much.

I loved the idea for this show but it's losing my interest quickly. I'm dvr'ing episodes and not feeling the urge to come back to them.

I hope something changes fast!

I must admit, the fact that my 13 year old loves it and wants to watch it gets me more looking forward to it than for my own sake of interest.

It's nice to have a show that we both like - and honestly, he complains less during Terra Nova than the Clone Wars, so...

This show's concept is pretty neat, I mean, anything with dinosaurs catches my attention; so far I only seen episodes 1 and 2; I hope the rest are good though.

I gave up two episodes back. Ugh, boring! I couldn't get interested. Still, better than the first episode of Once Upon a Time. I only made it 3/4 through that show.

I've got Once Upon a Time on the DVR also but haven't made it to it yet. Your reaction is discouraging! It only caught my eye because of Damon Lindelof (and a couple of other LOST ties) and Robert Carlyle.
