Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

I’m a big fan of the show and I would love to see some paper props.
The second episode ‘Automatic for the People’ (season 2) has a few interesting ID cards in it,

Ok, here the first, it's the faked ID of Carl Greenway, which Cameron only drew the barcode on a empty template Sarah uses later.

Funny enough, the HD caps showed, that all prop ID's had the same barcode - which also BTW is fake and doesn't contain any information. Strange, IMHO, it'll be easier to use Code 128 to do this than just by hand... but what do I know...

The card itself is 300 dpi and has the size of a standard credit card even if it looks larger on screen. Print it out and laminate it, use a credit card puncher and a slot punch and you're done.

New revised version below!

^ Looks great! Thanks!

I notice that the squares in the background behind the headshot area echo the design motif of the Terminator CPUs. Maybe a little in-joke from the prop department?

Hi guys,

here's my version of the same ID card. A few graphic elements are different.

Enjoy

Sorry Yen-Chih, I just couldn't resist.......

Thanks a lot guys, those ID’s are looking great (y)thumbsup:thumbsup

If I’m not mistaking, the ID card with the empty template that Sarah uses is actually taken from the security guard in the bar, not from Greenway. Although it doesn’t make any difference, they are all the same, except for the names and pictures off course.

I’m looking forward for more :cool

I miss this show. I preferred it to Dollhouse, which has now also bitten the bullet. FOX - bane to geeks everywhere. *grumble, grumble*

No problem, but I've seen this - it's from Nick El at YourProps and he stated that it's a replica. You made a copy-copy from a copy :p

Caplan, I've used an online barcode decoder and got no results, because it didn't read anything! I was curious, if the prop guy had made some hidden messages, but I came zip out of this...

That's cool - I guess I have to tweak the thin barcode to make it slightly thinner and I I'll use that Sarah pic....

Ok, I've had revised the card slightly: the thinner strokes are slightly thinner and I had to take another similar photo of Sarah from Episode 2x16 to closely match that of Serrano point, adding the bruises.
