Terminator question ...

I have a quick question - does anyone know what type of leather jacket Arnold wears towards the end of the first Terminator film? I'm sure that exact jacket isn't readily available anymore (or is it?) but is there anything out there that comes close to that look?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Didn't he wear a trenchcoat and not a leather jacket? The coat Bill Paxton was wearing at the beginning.

He didn't take any of Paxton's clothes.

The first jacket was grey with rivets and chains on and when that outfit got wasted in the chase he switched to a new outfit w. a black leather jacket.

Yeh he killed Paxton's character and took the clothes of the only 'survivor' it was a trenchcoat up until he gets the red (?) motorbike at the end from then on its a leather biker jacket of some sort I'm sure

Did he? Well, he could have died from being thrown up against those bars... but I don't recall it as a clear-cut on-screen death.

Also, I thought trenchcoats were long... the one Arnold is wearing is just a regular jacket. The guy that had his heart pulled, iirc was the one wearing the trenchcoat - Arnold didn't wear any of his clothes either.

Sorry I don't have anything of real value as to what the leather jacket brand is...

For the first half of the picture he's wearing the gray coat with studs and chains. Then suddenly in the Police Dept. attack, he's sporting the classic Schott Perfecto style of motorcycle jacket.

We don't see where this jacket came from. He stays in it until the tanker fire when it is presumably destroyed.

In Terminator 2 Arnie goes right for the same type of jacket as soon as he lands from the future, and wears it throughout the picture.

He never wears a trench, the jacket he takes off the punks was not a short biker jacket, but was definitely not long enough to even be a 3/4 trench.AFAIK from some research quite a while back the perfecto style jacket he wears from the iconic "I'll be Back" scene throughout much of the rest is a Bates. (it's possible I could be wrong, but I seldom am ;) ) I believe they continued that tradition into T2 and hence that is why Nowak and Bates collaborated to bring the T3 jacket together.

Here we are debating terminator bits and bobs again :lol Your right though Reese had the trenchcoat :thumbsup

Michael Biehn (Kyle Reese) was the one with the trench coat. Arnold wore a modified M65 field jacket in the first half. Then he gets the leather one.
