Hi guys I have been working on a new project which I hope have up and running soon, Just need to finish other project first. It has took a lot of time and effort to get to this stage, And I wanted to show you where I am on it so far,

Its going to be a fully working Terminator CPU CHIP that is a USB MEMORY STICK.
As you can see by the picture below this is the mock up , I am working on adding more detail and getting the right colour match.
They will be made of a hard plastic, And the memory size will be 512mb or 1gb

I would really like to hear your feed back on this,

Thanks

Russ,

If your asking for input......Its a cool idea however:

1) Memory size sucks.....it needs to be at least 8 - 16 gigs for it to be real useful.

2) There needs to be somewhere to hook it to a keychain for carrying around.

3) The first thing guys will loose is the "cap"...every flash drive I've ever owned with a detachable cap like your thinking of doing falls off and gets lost.....in fact I never buy flashdrives with such separate caps. Your better off with a "slide-out" USB plug if you can figure out a way to add it to the design without compromising its look. No detachable cap to lose or just no cap at all.

This looks nice, but same than Tymer
You should put 8giga mini, because 1giga will be... short :S
But overall it's a nice project :)

Russ,

Another suggestion........there are several very tiny very thin flash drives on the market like "PNY" Flash drives that I feel with your machining talent you could fit one into a metal CPU (one sliced in 1/2 , hollowed out to fit the flashdrive then held together with a couple very tiny screws.

Ah you're killing me smalls! I've had thr same project in the works for a couple of months now! :lol
Granted mine is based on Cameron's chip instead of arnies.

Like the others said though, bigger storage capacity and some way to tether the clip. :):thumbsup

I will look in to this idea, as it would save a small fortune on getting the mold done :)

Thanks for the input :)

Oh man this is such a great idea. If you did a run of these I would buy at least one in a heartbeat.

Try to make it fit in the Sideshow Endoskulls. It's extra big from what I have been told so you could make an adapter that slips in to fit your proper size CPU chip

Then have some member create a "file" that would be in a Terminator. It can have info on Skynet, Judgement Day, the Conners, all the Terminator models, maps, oh yeah, and those "detailed files." That way you take the CPU out of the skull, put it into your computer and bamo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awesome project and idea BTW

Soooo In depending on price - Ditto on the capacity - 8GB minimum, also like the comments on tether & cap.

You should look at licensing these too - These would fly off the shelf at the theme parks priced right.

Another idea could be:

In TSCC, John attempts go gain intel from a T-888 chip by plugging it into his computer and at one point he inadvertently activates the chip's higher functions. The terminator uses the computer's webcam to see and this was in turn displayed on the screen in glorious Terminat-O-vision. What would be really cool is if someone created an autoexec file that mimicked this which you could load up into your CPU replica. Of course you probably wouldn't want to use it for storage at this point!
