I have a project obsessing me and I need suggestions. I am a Star Trek TNG fan and I would like to build a enclosure for my 3D printer. I recently found a set of Bodum cups. I really like Eric Ardros, TNG Wall Replicator http://www.therpf.com/showthread.php?t=207740 but I want to make it functional.
This is were I want to build my Replicator.
I gutted Tassimo coffee maker and I am able to make hot water with a Arduino.
I designed a Pythagorean cup to control the infusion.
The way I see it in my head, the printer is behind a square opening like the replicator in the USS Defiant crew quarters. The tea is prepared in a other section behind a access panel. Over the printer I want to install a monitor at a angle like on the Defiant bridge.
I don't have any idea on how to deliver the cup to the print area.
Comment and idea would be appreciated.
