Hi folks, I know TDKR is fading behind as new movies come up, but here is a bane mask I just finished. Took a few months to complete, unfortunately I procrastinated due to the unknown ( I never worked with composites before and had to learn first hand.. expensive!)... Hope you like it, tell me what you think.

after the short video the paint job needed touch up.. and when looking at the mask, you see the tubes are pretty good, but could be better.. as well as the paint color.

tried to get as much detail as possible, but I was rushed because my marine brother was coming home and it was a gift.

here he is in costume not bad for throwing together in a weekend.

after he left I had no pressure to make modifications to the mask. I did a better paint job and re did the tubes.

thank you guys :) and my next project is going to be really cool! It will be tough but cool. I'm going to start soon

Absolutely incredible! By far the best Bane mask I've ever seen. Your hard work really shows! :thumbsup (Also hello from a fellow Oregonian!)

Very nice! I could look at replicas from the Nolan universe all day. Doesn't matter how far behind us it is, the costumes were terrific. Very nice work here :thumbsup

thankyou all very much :) Ya he was happy to receive it. unfortunately he left when I made the last improvements. but he will have one when he gets back, I'll just have to make him another.

:D - That's on our list of things to do. Improve the accuracy of the mask we used for the 'Bane' build for my son or build a more accurate one from scratch. It's actually not too bad, with the exception of the tubing at the front of the mask which needs to be modified. Anyway, I just popped in to say - nice job!

...& hello from another Oregonian, (transplanted to Washington, but still an Oregonian at heart. :D )!~

again great job on the mask, not sure screen accurate is the correct wording BUT its def close

I was just going to type out the same thing.
The front looks pretty good, sides and back are not screen accurate for sure. Still a fairly nice attempt. :thumbsup

HAHA you know when i look back at this, you are ABSOLUTELY CORRECT. I dont think it was really even close, when someone like yourself, who as 'looked' at a character as much as you have, you see things the rest of us cant. This is my final go at it and Im pretty satisfied its maybe even desirable to you? that is until you get the recasted original that is.100_2279.JPG100_2281.JPG100_2282.JPG100_2284.JPGphoto.jpg
