Hey all. I'm closing in on the final fittings and touch ups of my TDK Joker. I got it all put together last night and took some pics. Thought I'd share with the group and maybe get some opinions/feedback.
Still need to-
-Keep working on better applying makeup
-Weather the coats a bit more
-Modify shoes
-Add pocket chain
-Keep growing hair :lol, get green looking better
-New buttons for vest and coat
-Buckle detail on gloves
I tried to take pics under/near different lighting in our house. The green hair doesn't look green from about 5 feet away. And the coat doesn't look purple! Dark colors unless you are close up. I hope all the subtle colors are noticeable as the Joker to people on Halloween!
Here's some of the coat detail shown. I cut the vents deeper into the coat and re-sewed the lining. Cuffs were flared. Started to weather coat a bit. Oh! And new gloves! I got these from Target and hand stitched(shabbily) the detail on the top of the hands(3 lines). Purple leather, Target, 17 bucks.
Shoes. Aren't the most accurate. But, I'm doing a little modifying. First and foremost, I sanded them down, and am kind of wet sanding new color back in with shades of brown paint. I have a ways to go, but they look kinda cool.
Makeup & scar application :lol
I tried to add some color/depth to the scars before I put all the makeup over top of it first, still trying to make these things pop off the face a little more-
Thanks for looking! Feedback, etc..is always appreciated and helpful.
