TCSS Grips Falling off Graflex

Hi,

I'm having some problems with my grips falling off. On my Luke ANH, four grips are performing solidly, but I'm having problems with three of them. I didn't coat the metal with acetone before sticking them on, which was my error, but now I just want to attach them without buying another set.

What's the best kind of adhesive to use in this case? Superglue? Heavy-duty double sided tape doesn't work; the metal is too smooth. Is there a certain epoxy to use? What should I do?

I've never seen tape that held up. I used Bob Smith Industries IC-2000 glue on mine. So far, they are solid as a rock.
