This is definitely motivating me to get on my feet and get fit and healthy! I'm not in the best of shape and my diet's been pretty bad. Many thanks for putting this thread up. Very much inspired by everyone! :)

so I said Id post my so far results, starting chest was 33 im now up to 36, arms were a flabby 10 and now they are 13 inches,
Im really trying to shrinkwrap my body, waist needs to stay small while my chest expands, lean lean lean. lol. KEEP IT UP SPIDEY FRIENDS

Great job JS!! Are you doing the Rusty Moore workout by chance? It's the shrink wrap method as well.

I'm using his fundamentals :) So far I'm liking what I'm seeing. Today is leg and core day for me, what is everyone else working on?

Still haven't gotten my goal of full on abs but Im not the least bit discouraged. I was able to accomplish 10 sets x 10 reps on pull up this week on a full upper body day, being the guy before that was lucky to do like 5 I'm happy with my progress. I hope everyone continues on this thread, I know Ill continue posting updates every week :)

Amazing work on the pull-ups, 10x10 is more than I can ever imagine doing in one workout.
Similar to you my goal is to have abs - my target date is July 2015 (for my 40th birthday), some time to go but I WILL get there.

Threads like this serve well for motivation, for everyone who has already posted in here but also to give inspiration to those who are yet to try. Don't let the thread die and nobody give up!

How goes the battle peeps? I finally upped my benching weight this week, felt like I was at a lul for the longest time and couldnt increase, same with my curls.

I bought a pull up bar and have started doing pull ups, push ups and dips as my primary workouts. It's only been a week but I have noticed that my upper body is a lot tighter. I could only do like 3 wide grip pull ups and now I'm up to 5. I didn't realize how much the pull ups work out your abs too.

Yeah same here, my core gets really engaged during pull ups, its hard to do my abs and legs raises after rocking a pull up workout lol

For sure. I can't believe how much the pull-ups actually seem to do. I have gone the gym on chest and shoulder days and spent whole hours dedicated to just those muscle groups. I do multiple sets of pull-ups with varying grips at home and I am just as sore the next few days and it took half the time. Plus I feel it in my obliques and back as well. I gotta say I'm really loving the pull-ups.

I had a buddy motivate me to try the 100lb dumbbells out again. I managed to get six solid reps in.

As far as running goes I've had a lull in activity. :(

Yeah I don't run. I hit the stair master for about 45 minutes. Throw on Netflix and before I know it I've burned about 400 calories. I never liked running on treadmills or ellipticalls. Doing a stair master at a slow steady pace is very very good for burning fat.

I'm 2 months into my workout/diet routine I still gotta long way to go before I'm spidey fit but I'm on the right track. I have till my birthday (Halloween) to lose about 20 more pounds of fat and tone up. I'll tell you my Brad suit is a huge motivator. It's the last thing I see before I go to sleep and the first thing I see in the morning so anytime I feel like slacking off its a visual reminder that I have a goal to achieve.

Oh I have no doubt that he is wearing a muscle suit, but either way this is what I'm shooting for. A little unrealistic perhaps but with this as my goal even if I fall short I will have still succeeded in getting a spiderman fit body.
