Nice going Andrew, its refreshing to see you doing this bird. What livery do you have planned buddy?
Do a full on "maverick" replica lol.

If you have not seen them, check out the 1:72 die cast Century Wings F-14 and other models. I have their first two VF-84 skull and bones F-14 and my son has the Sundowners. Incredible detail and a super buy to boot. I also have the A-6 models and have their new A-7 on order. By FAR, the most outstanding model out on the market. You still need to pop a few parts together, pilots and bomb loads and gear, pretty much though ready to go out of the box fo r display after 15 minutes. These are the best of the best I have seen for models like this.

Thats actually a good idea. Im sure there was a thread somewhere about the Markings for his plane. I think it was a mis match of codes etc.

That's a very rare model... 20 plus years old.:love Nice to see it again. Do you plan to do the internal body frame details as well?

Great build. I never managed to finish mine...20 years ago.:rolleyes

Brings back memories of wanting that model so bad but only being able to afford the Revell version. (Or maybe it was Monogram..Don't remember) Had fun anyway. Keep the pictures coming. Looks good.

All major assembly work done now and the topside has been rescribed. The intakes actually didnt fit too bad. Still more seamwork and detail parts to do , but overall im very pleased.
