Hola.
I am a Spider-Man like a lot of you on here, and I wanted to share my experience with my Symbiote suit.
I purchased a pattern from crazyfranky on sellfy, which was a lot nicer in person than it was on the computer. Sheen in the right areas, and a kind of honeycomb in the sheen into the black parts of the suit that really makes it feel like an alien. Needless to say I was quite impressed. I sent the pattern off to be printed and sewn, and within two weeks, it was in my hands.
It came with some cheapie kind of lenses on it, so I opted for a Tjack faceshell/lens combo to put together myself. I don't recommend getting the rubber lenses unless you're very certain as to what kind of adhesive to use. Maybe I should have just gotten plastic, but whatever. I wanted the rubber for flexibility sake, and they are very nice. The soles were already attached and they are okay, useful for my purposes. This is just my first one that I am adding to, building on, whatever. I've had a lot of trial and error, but I'm satisfied with it overall. When I grow up one day I'll probably opt for the nice RPC studio faceshell and lenses. Hope you all enjoy the pics, and I'm more than happy to answer any questions about the suit.
