So, there was a separate island contest for three of the contestants on the TV show, SURVIVOR. One from each tribe.

You have a big bamboo cup, really large, and 7 dice, each dice is about 1 inch square. I believe that this was so they would show up better on screen. The dice were really quite large.

The four middle squares in a ring around the dice have a carved diamond shape in the middle.

Each opposing end of the dice has either a FLAME or a SKULL.

You roll all 7 dice and set aside any flames or skulls, and roll the remaining dice.

You keep rolling the dice until 4 of the same symbol are saved up. 4 skulls or 4 flames. Since there's only 7 dice, it must be one or the other with no possibility of a tie.

4 skulls means you lose. 4 flames means you win.

I wanted to do this, but then I thought that I don't have the money, and then I thought I'd do it on a budget.

I searched Amazon for the cheapest bamboo cup I could find. This was $7 with free shipping. It's not as large as the one on Survivor, but I'm also going to downscale the dice a bit, so a smaller cup makes sense. I just have to model the dice and then I'll 3D print them.

In my defense, the ad on Amazon showed this resin to be a lot more brown. It looks orange of pinkish here. I may change resins and reprint. I'm looking for that light brown color closer to the prop dice.

Alright!! Second round goes to me. I got a light brown-ish color that works well enough for me.
For those following this, I actually added BLUE resin of the same type and same manufacturer to the pinkish color and got brown. I had to look it up on Google to figure out that there are various ways to make brown.

You can see the previous failed attempt in the background.

Now, to color the symbols.

I rolled until I got 4 skull or 4 fires, but ended up with 5 fires, I don't roll the last dice because I stop when I get at least 4 of something. But that could have been 6 fires if I had rolled 3 fires on the last roll. For that matter, when starting over, you might roll in such a way from the start where you might get 7 fires.
