There's options out for display. For the donner designs, I tend to use acrylic tubing and a selenite tea light holder. Hit ebay and look around and you'll find some nice pieces.

Returns I just keep on the shelf on a black velvet piece of fabric like the movie had em laid out

The others... gotta admit I'm still working up the details on that

I use a clear acrylic 3 tier lightsaber stand to display mine. It works great:
